My name is Christopher Williams, a 22-year-old graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill’s Hussman School of Journalism & Media.
I have experimented with multiple forms of journalism. I have come to realize that regardless of the medium, my true passion lies with covering social issues.
As the son, grandson, and great nephew of a long line of teachers and guidance counselors, as well as a graduate of the Wake County Public School System, educational reporting is extremely important to me. This is why I hope to work as an advocate for public school systems and the students they benefit, whether as a reporter, my eventual goal of becoming an educational lawyer, or any job that continues to fulfill this goal.
