During the summer of 2022, I was blessed to be a part of WUNC’s Youth Reporting Institute. Interning at a local NPR affiliate gave me some amazing experiences, exposure, and everyone’s biggest motivation, money! Along the way I met talented mentors and coworkers, and eventually fell into a social media marketing position that keeps me involved at the station today.
